Roadrunner Christmas Cocktail Selections

Dec. 24, 2025

Roadrunner, Don’t!

This adventurous lil kick in the glass lingers reposado with rich rhubarb and maple while fresh lemon zips around the edges.

2 oz Costa reposado tequila

1 oz Zucca

¾ oz lemon juice

½ oz maple syrup

Teton Charlie

He survived thirteen high country winters wearing nothing but a leather jock strap and goat skin nip covers. But died crossing the street in Jackson to order his favorite cocktail. In memoriam, Teton Charlie.

2 oz. / 45 ml. Rye & Sons Rye

1 oz. / 15 ml. Bruto Americano

1 oz. / 15 ml. Cynar

orange zest

Served in lowball with abstract ice rock.

Cocktail a la Who Dat?

Humidor

If a cigar liquified itself and became a Cuban lounge singer, it would be this baritone beauty. Nutty, caramel sweetness balanced with raspy notes that twinge of smoke.

1 oz. Madre Espadin mezcal

½ oz. Bénédictine & Cognac

And to All a Good Night!

Legend has it this is what The Velvet Fog himself sipped as he crooned carols late into the night down in the Tenderloin. Leadville ain’t no Tenderloin. But this long sipper will make us as mirthy as The Fog.

1½ oz Rye Bros. Rye

¾ oz Costa reposado tequila

¾ oz Cherry Heering or Luxardo maraschino liqueur (for a milder, almond finish)

2 dash orange bitters

1 dash angostura bitters

Friar Lamy’s Lament

Lamy went to hell for drinking this during his final Christmas Eve sermon in 1887. This elixir, whose berry and cinnamon sweetness are cut slightly with anise, left him bumbling about and confessing way too much publicly. Word to the wise: sip this nocturnal in company you trust.

2oz Rittenhouse Rye

3/4oz Lucano or Ramazotti Amaro

2tsp Cherry Heering

1/2tsp Absinthe

Cherry for garnish

The Dean’s List

Don’t let his aversion to the fine spirits deceive. The Dean brings the highest of spirits (literally, figurative, blissfully) to every occasion. Often seen roaming the hall’s of close kin clutching a can of beer or cradling a lowball of vino, he’s assured to fuel the goodest of times.

In his quiver:

Wine

Beer

Chilled coupe of 4Loco and a baggie of primo high country cannabis.
